ich hatte heute eine Email im Postfach, die ich noch nicht so ganz einordnen konnte:

I am a Developer Relations Engineer at source{d}, we are working on improving developer recruitment. We have analyzed your open source contributions on Github and we think that that you could be a good fit for the position as an iOS Developer at Clue (helloclue.com/).

Clue is a startup based in Berlin. Their app helps women understand their menstrual cycles so they can discover how to live full and healthy lives. With over 4 million users spread across 190+ countries, Clue is one of the most popular apps in the “Health & Fitness” category in the US, Germany, France, Mexico and many other countries.

The skeleton of the project is built with NodeJS, a PostgreSQL database and partly deployed on AWS. Their prediction algorithm was developed by mathematicians and his currently maintained by their data science team running directly on the application.

At the moment they are around 35 people out of which seven are part of the engineering team, distributed among the iOS, the Android, the Backend and the Data teams. They follow a scrum methodology with two-week sprints along with a project manager and scrum master.

When joining the iOS team, you will work directly with another two iOS developers on their Objective-C based app. You will be expected to have enough experience and knowledge in the iOS world to quickly understand their codebase and start contributing as soon as possible.

The salary ranges between €55,000 and €65,000, and you would work in-house in their Berlin HQ.

Ich bin ja von Natur aus misstrauisch und leicht paranoid ... und vermute dahinter sofort Scam.

Wenn Du allerdings meinst, Deine GitHub-Aktivitäten könnten diese Kontaktaufnahme eines Headhunters wirklich rechtfertigen (und Du möchtest diese Chance nicht vergeben), würde ich wie bei Phishing-Mails reagieren: Statt - sinngemäß - auf den Link zu klicken, direkt an die angebliche Quelle gehen, sprich bei Clue direkt nachfragen. Den Kontakt findest Du ja leicht im Inpressum ihrer App.

Entsprechend meiner Paranoia würde ich die Mailheader analysieren und schauen, ob der Gute über einen Server von source{d} gesendet hat.
Dann würde ich die Jobangebote der genannten Website vergleichen (Stelle als Senior iOS Dev. ist offen)

Die Tatsache, dass der gute Tiago in Spanien sitzt und für ein Berliner Unternehmen recruiten will sowie die Tatsache, dass er zwar die Website nennt aber nicht zur Stellenausschreibung verlinkt würde mich nachforschen lassen, ob workable eventuell zu source{d} gehört.
Dann würde ich sehen, dass da ein gewisser Tiago Carvalho mit dieser Position arbeitet. Auch würde mir auffallen, dass die Stellenausschreibung in englisch ist.
Insgesamt klingt das Konzept von source{d} schlüssig, eine Zugehörigkeit zur workable Plattform sehe ich aber nicht.

Insofern würde ich (natürlich nur bei bestehendem Interesse - ich hätte ihm erklärt dass ich an einer neuen Herausforderung kein Interesse habe weil blablabla) kurz bei Clue anfragen, ob sie source{d} mit dem Recruitment beauftragt haben.
(Falls ja wäre es ja blöd ihn um seine Provision zu prellen, nech. In dem Fall macht der Mann ja auch nur seine Arbeit.)
